Invest NI Website Redesign and Development
Invest NI required a website redesign and content development, with a focus on delivering their core message and brand more clearly. They wanted to adopt a more welcoming and approachable style, while highlighting the wealth of great legacy material generated throughout the years.
I was lead copywriter for the project, which included interactive tools to help businesses find funding, as well as developing guides and best practice manuals for their intranet.
SEO
As SEO specialist for the project, I optimised all html pages for the entire site, selecting unique focus keywords, and redeveloped content to fill gaps within the new schema. The redesign involved creating a new, stream-lined site structure. I also linked legacy content to suitable pages to engage users in “further reading” and delve deeper into the site.
I’m AdWords certified and helped craft social media adverts across many platforms, including Twitter, Google and facebook.
Tools and Comms Toolkit
Several tools were developed to allow users to access bespoke content depending on their answers to a series of questions, resulting in a pdf of tailored funding sources and expert advice.
In addition, Invest NI wanted to create an overall Comms Toolkit only accessible by staff, which detailed best practice for everything from posting on social media, to dealing with the press.
